Myanmar media hails winning of gold medal in Asian archery GP

A Myanmar official media Monday hailed the winning of one gold, two silver and two bronze medals by the country’s archers in the 2nd Asian Archery Grand Prix held in Vientiane, Laos.
Myanmar team could bring tremendous dignity to the country during the second Asian Archery GP which will run until April 26, predicted the New Light of Myanmar.
Ye Min Swe won one gold medal and Aung Hnein one silver in the 72-arrow men and women (Compound) 50m event.
In the 72-arrow men and women (Recurve)70m event, Thin Thin Khaing secured one silver while the men’s team (Compound) clinched one bronze medal with 1,885 points and the women’s team one bronze medal with 1,900 points in each compound events.
